A-series Sheet Fine Art Printing

Prints on Cut Sheet

TAKUMI Studio offers fine art printing on ISO A-series cut sheet across a large of our media offering. A favourite of artists, illustrators and photographers wishing to print their work to standard frame sizes.

Standard ISO Sizes on cut sheet are printed with a 15mm border on each side due to printable area limitations. If you require an image printed to the full height/width of a standard ISO size, then please select either Full Bleed Prints on cut Sheet (Orders are printed on larger cut sheets and trimmed) or Full Bleed Prints on Roll Media.

  • Full Bleed prints on cut sheet are printed on larger sheets and attract a premium accordingly vs full bleed prints on roll media.

  • All Full Bleed prints are printed with the addition of a 0.5 inch paper border to aid in packaging and handling.

  • All ISO sizes up to A2 are printed on cut sheets of fine art paper, the best choice if you require your prints to be delivered flat. Prints on roll media will flatten in a short period of time especially when packaged with a backing board and protective sleeve.

  • Whilst we choose to print on cut sheet where possible, we reserve the right to print on roll media depending on paper stock availability and production requirements.

Fine Art Prints on roll media across our media range

Prints on roll media

TAKUMI Studio offers fine art printing on roll media across the full range of our media options.

Roll media options are available up to 44 inch wide.

Roll media prints are printed with an additional 0.5 inch paper border on 4 sides for handling and packaging.

A client elected paper border width can be selected on ordering.

  • If you need the prints to be delivered flat (ie. without roll curl), please select prints from cut sheets or call us to discuss your specific requirements.

  • Larger prints, generally A3+ may need to be shipped in a tube and so some curl will be evident when unpacking. The print will flatten in a short period of time and most framers are able to prepare prints appropriately prior to framing.

  • Whilst we choose to print on cut sheet where possible, we reserve the right to print on roll media depending on paper stock availability and production requirements.

Print Packaging

All Prints include protective packaging (cello sleeve for flat prints A2 and under, archival tissue paper for larger rolled prints).

What makes us tick?

Our founding values

Our printing process is 100% collaborative. You have the opportunity to be involved as little or as much as you want. Your artwork, or photography, is yours – not ours. We are here to help with suggestions and advice, but ultimately to produce printed matter that accentuates your work and realises your vision.

One word to describe us? Scrupulous. Being a good printer is about paying meticulous attention to detail. Being a great printer is about listening to your client’s needs, offering solutions and then exceeding expectations – this sums up our mission.

Our printers, camera equipment, monitors are Japanese in origin – a culture that has fostered photographic development and evolution and is analogous with the high-quality standards that we hold ourselves to. A country where artisans are regarded for their dedication to their craft. To the same effect we aspire to Kaizen principles of continuous growth, education and improvement.
