Working with you

Collaborative Approach

Our printing process is 100% collaborative. You have the opportunity to be involved as little or as much as you want. Your artwork, or photography, is yours – not ours. We are here to help with suggestions and advice, but ultimately to produce printed matter that accentuates your work and realises your vision.

Intended market & audience

TAKUMI offers a range of media choices to suit all budgets and buyer markets. We can suggest a shortlisted range of options that meet your needs and the requirements of your customers.

Archival qualities and surface durability should also be primary considerations in selecting an appropriate media type.

We are here to assist with all of these considerations.

Environmental considerations

Not all papers are created equally.

Where environmental considerations are a primary concern for the media that you wish to associate with your work, then considerations such as OBA content, the sustainability of inputs, consistency and quality of the media (resulting in less wastage) and the base fibre choice are all important elements to consider.

Media such as Hahnemühle’s Natural Line focus on papers made from raw materials such as hemp, bamboo and agave – offering artists the ultimate choice for environmentally friendly fine art papers.

In harmony with your vision and aesthetic

Your printed work and media selection should be an extension of your artistic vision and aesthetic. With a broad selection of media choices, and access to dozens more, TAKUMI can assist with each step of print production.
